The inventor of Roomba has created a weed-slashing robot for your garden

Roomba co-creator Joe Jones has created a garden Roomba for gardens with Franklin Robotics. Tertill uses sensors to identify weeds and cuts them down until they eventually die. It requires a small raised border to stay in the garden and it needs room between plants to get to all the weeds.

It looks like Google’s next Pixel phones will ditch the headphone jack, too

That’s because Google will join the likes of Apple, HTC, and Motorola by omitting the 3.5mm headphone jack from both of its upcoming handsets, according to a new report from VentureBeat’s Evan Blass. The move has been rumored before.

The inventor of pineapple pizza has died at the age of 83

Whether you love it, hate it, or can’t seem to make your mind up about it — there’s no denying that you’ve probably come across Hawaiian pizza at some point in your life. Sam Panopoulus, the man credited with first putting pineapple on pizza, passed away last Thursday at the age of 83.
